Game data (no server-side collection)
Your ongoing games, your statistics (games played, wins, best times…) and your preferences (light/dark theme, level) are stored only in your browser's local storage (localStorage). This information stays on your device, is never sent to any server, and is never shared. It is deleted if you clear your browser's browsing data.
Cookies used
On your first visit, a consent window appears: it is served by Google's Consent Management Platform (CMP), certified under the IAB TCF framework. Until you give your consent, no audience-measurement or advertising cookie is set: Google's scripts load in “consent denied” mode (Google Consent Mode v2) and write nothing to your device. You can change your choice at any time with the button below.

Legal basis and consent
Setting Google Analytics and AdSense cookies relies on your consent (Article 6.1(a) of the GDPR), collected through Google's CMP consent window (IAB TCF framework). Declining is offered on the first screen, at the same level as accepting, and you can withdraw your consent at any time, just as easily as you gave it.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google may process certain data outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, as part of Google's compliance framework.

Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Sudoku-Land does not offer user accounts or passwords, and does not store any identification data.
